Centurio Interreg IIIC - The brochure

The final Centurio brochure summarizing the aims, the objectives and the results of the 2 year and a half long Programme can be downloaded here. In addition, printed copies are available in the AER Secretariat.

The Centurio Interreg IIIC Programme was initiated and submitted by the Assembly of European Regions (AER), the Lead Partner of the project. The project proposal was written and completed by Laura De Rose, former Committee C Policy Coordinator and Agnès Ciccarone, current Policy Coordinator to the AER Committee 1: Economy and Regional Development. The management and coordination of the Programme has been carried out by Orsolya Farkas and Robert Himsl, seconded civil servants from two Partner Regions in the Programme (Hajdú-Bihar and Upper Austria).

The Centurio Programme, gathering 48 Partner Regions from 20 different European countries, has been dealing with three key areas of Regional Sustainable Development: Sustainable Quality Tourism, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Economic Development. This interregional platform provided an outstanding opportunity for the Partner Regions to exchange their experiences and know-how in these fields.

The Centurio brochure contains the aims, the objectives and the results for all 22 Partnerships working under the framework of the Programme. Furthermore, a short description is available about the Dissemination Conferences organized for the Partner Regions and other relevant stakeholders.
