AER Committee 3 continues its policy of cooperation with other AER committees. Following our strong collaboration with Committee 2 (Social Affairs and Public Health) at our Autumn Plenary Meeting 2011 in Istanbul, we are organising in Vienna a joint conference on "Equal Rights for All" with the Standing Committee on Equal Opportunities and the Youth Regional Network. Topics dedicated to the EU year on active ageing as well as culture, tourism and economic development will be looked at during our Plenary, with the help respectively of Committee 2 and Committee 1 (Economy and Regional Development). Finally, the Plenary Meeting of the Youth Regional Network will follow our joint conference, and you are all welcome to stay on to attend this meeting of our youth representatives.
