Norway in the EU – will it ever happen?

During the Forum in Nordland citizens will discuss with regional politicians what are the main reasons for and against joining the EU. The debate will provide some food for thought to reflect upon the EU’s enlargement with Norway.

The discussion will be preceded by providing the current play of state regarding Norway’s active involvement in the EU affairs. Next arguments for and against country’s joining the EU will be presented. This input will be starting point for the citizens of the region of Nordland to discuss their feelings about becoming official citizens of the European Union. Questions such as when and what for will be crucial to the debate.
