Next 23rd and 24th September, the second transnational partners’ meeting of the project “ACKNOW MV – Acquiring knowledge and raising the quality of services targeted to minors victims of violence” will take place in Valencia (Spain).

Gemeinsame Gastgeber sind die Kantone Thurgau und St. Gallen.

DIEGO (Digital Inclusive e- Government) is a project led by the Valencian Region with the objective to enable all European citizens to access and participate in electronic administration through a digital platform. This initiative has received the approval from the European Commission, which will give an EU contribution of 2.5 million Euros, half of the final budget.

The seminar has been focused in inter-regional collaboration and in the EU 2020 strategy. Jakub Urbanik, director general of External Relations for the European Commission and Lambert Van Nistelrooij, member of the Commission for Regional Policy of the European Parliament, amongst other experts, attended the seminar.

In the framework of the seminar in Territorial Cooperation in the EU and Neighbourhood Policy, the Regional Secretary for Territorial Cohesion, Relations with the Spanish Government and the EU, Rafael Ripoll, met Eleni Marianou, secretary general of the CRPM, and Lambert Van Nistelrooij, member of the Commission for Regional Policy of the European Parliament.

During the meeting, the Vice-president offered the support of the Valencian Region in the organisation of events foreseen by the AER.

The Valencian Government has signed an agreement to promote a European platform of electronic administration that will be accessible to everyone and through which the whole society can participate. The DIEGO project (Digital Inclusive e-Government) has received the support of the European Commission and will receive an EU contribution of 2.5 million Euros, which is half the total budget.

European part-funded project EASY presents its first results at the Committee of the Regions in Brussels

The Bourgogne region has led a European project named PROCURE which has been running for almost 2 years. The project has been cofinanced by the European programme e-Ten and aimed at enabling electronic bids for public procurement procedure through safe and intuitive web services for SMEs, across 5 pilot regions in the EU. The PROCURE project is coming to its end and therefore, its leader is organising the project final conference, to be held in Brussels on the 16th and 17 March 2009.
