Improving the health and the well-being of European citizens is important for the European Union and essential for regions. Achieving social and economic strategies of prosperity, solidarity and security requires a population in good health.
Developing work on health in policies such as fostering e-Health use, preventing alcohol related harm or improving cross-border healthcare operability, involves forging new and innovative partnerships across all sectors at EU, national and regional level.
