The AER Youth Team is a platform for permanent exchange and cooperation between the youth representatives and politicians to ensure that the youth dimension is integrated into main areas of each AER Committee’s work.
The main objective is mainstreaming youth within the AER and involving youth into the decision making on European level.

During the Youth Team mandate, young people give input to the AER work, make contributions and they are directly involved in the activities of the AER Committees.
Youth Team makes young people interests visible, involves them in politics at all levels and includes a youth perspective in all work of the AER and member regions.

The Youth Team functions as a link between local, regional and national youth councils/parliaments and the AER. Proposals, ideas and comments of young people are taken forward at the Youth Team meetings taking place twice a year. The Youth Team co-operates with politicians and other authorities to implement the proposals of young people.
