Seminar & Partnership Fair on Interreg IV opportunities

The AER has been Lead Partner of the Centurio Interreg IIIC project which has now come to an end. With 50 partners, Centurio was the biggest project of the Interreg IIIC West zone. This experience has shown the wish of the Regions to continue the exchange of best practices, but also to go a step further, by setting up new networks on specific issues, in view of implementing joint projects. The new Interreg IVC offers appropriate opportunities to the Regions to get useful financial support for these networks. The AER has therefore decided to build up on the experience of Centurio by organising an ad hoc Seminar and Partnership Fair on Interreg IVC.

The aim of this event is two-fold:

• First, the Seminar will offer detailed insight to the AER members on Interreg IVC: which are its priorities (i.e., which projects could get funding) and how does it work (implementation procedure).
• Second, the Partnership Fair, which will follow the Seminar, will offer a unique opportunity for the Regions to meet with potential partners for their project proposals and to make progress in the drafting of these proposals. The scope of the Fair will be opened to all issues dealt with by the AER Committees, as long as they are relevant in the framework of Interreg IVC.
