Join us for the Arctic Light e-Health Conference (ALEC), organised jointly by Norrbotten County Council (S) and the Assembly of European Regions (AER), on 3-5 February 2010
ALEC2010 is addressed directly to the regions!
This event aims to bring together all actors at the regional level, be it decision-makers, policy officers, university experts or business representatives, to discuss how they are working with e-health in their territories and what the future of e-health holds. This is an opportunity for you to create synergies within your region and also with regions abroad, to further promote the e-health agenda.
Demand on our healthcare systems is on the rise, spurred by demographic change, increased citizen mobility and the rising expectations of our patients. With our resources remaining limited, now is the opportunity to develop new distance-spanning services and technologies that will increase the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of our services.
The aim of ALEC2010 is to help regions learn from each other and develop partnerships in order to fully exploit the potential of e-health. It is the occasion to meet with European decision-makers, industry representatives and experts in the field to discuss what you think should be the priority areas for ehealth.

You have to be logged in to get access to the Speakers' presentations and to the conclusions of the conference as well as to the invitation letter.
