Agenda 22 and regional disabilities strategies

The UN Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities was adopted on 13 December 2006 and ratified today by 103 countries.

Poitou-Charentes is the first French region having adopted an Agenda 22 and will share the analysis of its experience together with two other European regions, who will present their own strategy in the field.

We will examine in depth the key questions related to the elaboration and implementation of regional strategies and focus on the question of transversality and territorial cohesion, which are basic requirements for a successful implementation of an accessible territory.
