Conference on the Health of Young People: Be healthy, Be Yourself

'Be healthy - be yourself' is the two-day conference on Youth and Health hosted by the European Commissioner for Health, Androulla Vassiliou, in Brussels on 9 and 10 July 2009. Young people together with youth and health organizations, as well as national partners will be invited to debate key health issues, such as: 

- the consumption of alcohol, tobacco and drugs,

- physical activity and sexual health,

- youth involvement,

- labour market,

- education,

- media and information,

- the impact of the economic and financial crisis on health of young people.

The conference will be attended by the representatives of the Youth Regional Network Committee on Social Affairs and Health.
