Youth Mobility in Europe: Going East!

In the framwork of the Polish EU Presidency and one of its priorities: the Eastern Partnership, this seminar will deal with youth mobility aspects in wider Europe. 

Given the rapid developments at the European level as regards to the European Neighbourhood Policy, as well as the concrete platforms established to strengthen the Eastern Partnership specifically, the seminar aims to raise the awareness about the Eastern Partnership as well as about the possibilities it offers to European youth by increasing their interest and know-how of the added-value linked to creating networks across wider Europe. Discussions will be enabled that are essential given the youth-driven uprising across the world on the one hand, as well as, consequently, the necessity to promote the idea of genuine European integration outside the European Union.

Different working sessions will be offered:

• Mobility: a vehicle for regional cooperation
• Mapping of financial possibilities for youth mobility between the EU and Eastern Partnership countries
• Volunteering between the EU and EaP countries
• Youth academic exchanges

This AER seminar will gather young Europeans and offer them a chance to discuss topics of current interest with members of the European Parliament and of youth initiatives all over Europe.
