Method: A combination of lectures, good practice examples and workshop will provide the format of this training session. The trainers work themselves in the field they teach. This so called peer learning approach enables participants to learn from their counterparts elsewhere in Europe through direct contact and practical cooperation.

European Territorial Cooperation is one out of three objectives of European Cohesion policy with the purpose of reducing economic and social disparities.

Objective three: European Territorial Cooperation
The European Territorial Cooperation objective is financed from ERDF and organised along three axes:
1) Cross-border cooperation, 2)Transnational cooperation, 3) Interregional cooperation supporting various activities and programmes.
During the period 2007 to 2013, Romania takes part in carrying out 11 programmes related to the European Territorial Cooperation objective.
