Interregional Seminar and Partnership Fair

Attractiveness of a Region's territory

What are the elements that determine the attractiveness of a Region's territory? How can we measure them? What examples of Regions having been successful in developing their economy can we find? What tools have they used? What role have research and innovation played in this context? These questions were at the heart of the last Seminar organised by the Assembly of European Regions, on 18-19 May 2006 in S'Hertogenbosch at the kind invitation of Noord-Brabant Province (NL), and at the initiative of the AER Committee C on Regional policies.
