AER Alcohol Peer Reviews: Preventing Alcohol-Related Harm

Part of the Building Capacity project, which has received funding from the European Union, in the framework of the Public Health Programme.

The AER is partner to the project "Building Capacity: Implementing Coordinated Alcohol Policy Across Europe", which is co-financed under the European Public Health Programme.

The AER has organised a series of peer reviews each focusing on a specific aspect of regional policy to prevent alcohol related-harm.

4th AER ALCOHOL PEER REVIEW - PREGNANCY AND NURSING

The 4th Alcohol Peer Review will take place in Katowice (Silesia-PL) on 18 March 2009 and will focus on prevention of alcohol consumption during pregnancy and nursing.

3rd AER ALCOHOL PEER REVIEW - YOUNG PEOPLE & CHILDREN

The 3rd Alcohol Peer Review will take place in Valencia (E) on 17 September 2008 and focused on Preventing alcohol-related harm among young people and children.

2nd AER ALCOHOL PEER REVIEW - AVAILABILITY

The second AER Alcohol Peer Review took place in Umeå (Västerbotten, S) on 4 June 2008, from 09:00 -15:00 and focused on the theme Availability of Alcohol: Regional Methodologies
The 2nd AER Alcohol Peer Review on Availability was being held at the occasion of the AER Social Policy & Public Health Committee (2) plenary session and conference on "Regional Responses to Demographic Change" on 2-3 June 2008.
