What is the EUHPF?
-European Health Policy Forum-
The European Health Policy Forum (EUHPF) is a biannual meeting between the European Commission-DG SANCO and European health stakeholders. It is an opportunity to learn about and debate latest European initiatives that have an impact on health policy.
The working documents and presentations are available to AER members only. To access these documents, you have to be logged-in as an AER intranet user.
On 19 May 2009, the EU Health Policy Forum met in Brussels.
The main focuses of the meeting were:
➢ Third meeting of the renewed group of the EUHPF
• Follow-up on current and future work of the EUHPF
➢ Follow-up on the work of the Council Working Group on Public Health at Senior Level and activities with the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing
➢ New Health Programme; mid-term evaluation of the current health programme and the health strategy

On Friday, 16 October 2009, the EU Health Policy Forum met in Brussels.
The main focuses of the meeting were:

- The Consultation for equality between women and men
- Commission update on key policies

Organised in connection to the European Open Health Forum, this brief meeting was an opportunity to discuss the the current debate in the Council Health Working Group about the mechanism that will be put in place in order to implement the new EU Health Strategy.
