As stated in the Europe 2020 strategy, one of the major priorities for the European Union is to remain a leader on the green technologies’ market, so as to ensure sustainable growth and boost Europe’s industrial competitiveness.
Supporting eco-innovations is therefore of strategic importance for European regions and the ECREIN+ INTERREG IVC Project precisely aims at improving regional policy making in this field.
Entrepreneurs have green and innovative ideas, our Regions do their best to help them start and expand: what can Europe do to unlock and maximise this potential?
Which type of support can be provided to regional and local authorities that wish to make use of their potential and grow green?
What are the EU funding programmes that best fit with regions’ needs?
How will the EU implement the Europe 2020 strategy with regard to eco-innovation?
