Due to the success of the first AER Training Academy, the AER and its partner regions are continuing with their newly establish training tool in order to make regional officers in Brussels and the regions, regional politicians and also interns aware of the role of the regions in the EU decision making process, different lobbying instruments, the maze of EU funding and EU project management.
In order to show participants as well the range of regional representations in Brussels, the different modules of the Training Academy are hosted by various AER member regions.
The co-organizing regions include : Brussels Capital (BE), South-West UK (UK), Friuli Venezia Giulia (IT), Baden-Württemberg (DE), Salzburg (AT), Ile-de-France (FR) and Valencia (ES). These regions provide trainers who take responsibility for delivering a specific part of the training module.
