Meeting of the AER working group on energy and climate change

Meeting of the working group

Improving energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources are the main priorities of the Energy 2020 Strategy of the European Union.
The AER working group on climate change and energy supports European regions in developing and implementing the strategy on a regional level.

The meeting was organised in the framework of the ENERGAIA International Renewable Energy Exhibition (for more information about Energaïa click here).
A conference in the morning highlighted regional good practice in energy efficiency and renewable energies. In the afternoon, the participants visited an energy efficient social housing site. In addition, AER members enjoyed free access to the exhibition from 7 to 9 December 2011.
