CDLR Workshop in Salzburg 1-2 December

"The representation of European regions at national and European level"

In order to strengthen regional and local democracy, the Council of Europe's Committee on Local and Regional Democracy (CDLR) is organising  workshops for local and regional decision makers and officers.  

The first CDLR workshop of this kind will be held on 1-2 December 2008 in the host and AER member region of Salzburg/Austria. It will deal with the question how regions can participate in the national and European decision making process.  

AER member regions are cordially invited to attend and to contribute to this event.

Organisation:

The session will start in the afternoon of 01/12 and continue on the  morning of 02/12 in order to facilitate arrival and departure of participants.

All participating countries are expected to cover the travel and subsistence expenses of their delegations.

Working language:

The working language of the workshop will be English only in order to allow for a more direct exchange.
