Following up our President's study visit to Tunisia, this seminar aims at presenting the state of play regarding the situation of regional democracy in European States and the positive, but also challenging aspects of decentralisation. It tries to offer the possibility to a delegation of Tunisian members of government to learn more about Who decentralisation was done in Europe. 

Regions from other EU countries which have undergone decentralisation reforms will be present to report about their experience. This seminar will be an opportunity to exchange on best practices and give some relevant inputs for decentralisation reforms in Tunisia.

In the same context another workshop on decentralisation and local democracy will take place in Tunis 30th of June to 2 of July.
