Together with the Assembly of European Regions Covasna County council organised a training session on European lobbying and European funding in order to train regional officers and public representatives in European Affairs. The training took place in Sfântu-Gheorghe, captial city of Covasna county. Situated in the historic region of Transylvania, Covasna county has a population with over 200 000 people, half of which is of Hungarian origin.
In delivering the training in Covasna county, the AER worked in partnership with a small number of representatives of AER member regions including Manoelle Wasseige from Brussels Capital (BE), Maruxa Cardama from South-West UK (UK), and Giulio Papa from Friuli Venezia Giulia (IT).
Participants included officers from Covasna county council, representatives of municipalities and instituions of Covasna as well as representatives from other Romania counties. For further information on Covasna County, please use following link: www.covasna.ro
