AER has presented itself to a wide audience of regional development and spatial planning experts at the Euregia 2008. The international trade fair for local and regional development in Europe took place in Leipzig/Germany. In the morning of 29 October 2008, AER also hosted a workshop during the Euregia Conference. Together with representatives from the European regions Hessen, Aquitaine, Emilia Romagna and Styria, and the Euregio Gronau we discussed concrete examples for supporting SMEs at regional level. We discussed different models of organizing business development and promotion at regional level, as well as services those agencies offer to SMEs.
