The state of Hesse is hosting an expert conference on the principle of subsidiarity with national and regional experts, representatives from the European institutions, politicians, journalists and representatives of interregional associations including the AER.
These experts and practitioners will discuss in different panels the concept of subsidiarty on the European level, its implementation in domestic politics. They will also discuss the new rights of the national parliaments and the Committee of the Regions and explore the possibilities and ways of interparlamentarian and interregional cooperation.
The AER is represented by the acting Head of the AER Brussels Office, Anja Ruhland.
The event is being hosted by the State Minister of the Land Hesse, Volker Hoff. It takes place at the Berlin presentation of the Land Hesse at:
