AER Communicating Europe Award 2010

Region of RHÔNE-ALPES (F)

The AER Communicating Europe Award 2010 has been given to the region of RHÔNE-ALPES (F).
They received the First Prize for their application "Support and information campaign for project holders", which helped to make European funding more accessible for its citizens. 
The jury also decided to give a Special Mention to VRANCEA (RO) for their project "Your identity - a chance for equal rights" in their efforts to legalise Roma people as Romanian citizens.

The AER Secretariat received nine applications from nine member regions, all of them coming from different countries.

Jury

To evaluate the received projects the AER Secretariat is collaborating with a Jury. The Jury is composed of media experts including journalists, academics, representatives from communication agencies and a member of the AER secretariat.
