Youth entrepreneurship education: a stepping-stone to regional innovation?

The Assembly of European Regions (AER) and the Østfold County Council invite all citizens to take part in the AER European Citizens’ Forum, which will be a unique opportunity to get involved in a debate with regional and European decision-makers.

Participants of the Forum will have the opportunity to get familiarised with the opportunities they have at their disposal with regards to self-employment. The primary aims of the debate will be to:

  • discuss the added value of the youth entrepreneurship education for the region’s innovativeness and development;
  •  listen to young people’s expectations and concerns;
  • assess if entrepreneurship education is inclusive and open to all.

The Forum will be held in Norwegian, French and English.

Context

The AER European Citizens' Forum in Ostfold will be held on the occasion of the AER Committee 1 Spring Plenary and related thematic seminars:

The Forum will be held on 25 March 2011, between 14.00-16.00 at at the Quality Hotel Fredrikstad, Nygata 2-4, 1607 Fredrikstad.

The Forum is an open event.
