ECREIN+ helps Regions of Europe work together to share experience and good practices in the areas of innovation, the knowledge economy, the environment and risk prevention. EUR 302 million is available for project funding but, more than that, a wealth of knowledge and potential solutions are also on hand for regional policy-makers.
Eco-innovation in the Regions - No time to waste!
On 21 and 22 March 2012, the ECREIN+ partners gathered in Milan (I) to learn more about Green public procurement and to discuss the state of play of their common work on identifying regional public policies supporting eco-innovation.

Two meetings were held on 24/01 and 24/02 2012, to create the framework for discussion and debate for the ECREIN+ platform for eco-innovation. These meetings gathered AMR team members, experts coming from universities and NGOs and representatives from Bucharest, Bacau, Brasov municipalities.

Project partners met in Stara Zagora for a workshop on EGS industry on 7 and 8 June 2011. The different kinds of relations and networks existing in the different regions between public authorities and the EGS industry sector were at the heart of the discussions. The First ECREIN+ Afternoon workshop was held on 13th December 2010 in Brussels.
The topic was: Public private partnership and new financial instruments for eco-innovation.
- About 25 persons attended the Breakfast briefing
A dissemination conference was organised by Malopolska region on 7 & 8 November 2011. The topic was "Eco-tourism as an innovative aspect of regional development". All presentations given at this occasion are available upon request. The press release can be downloaded here.
