AER Working Group on Equal Europe for People with Disabilities
Did you know that nearly one tenth of the population in Europe has some kind of disability?
Recognition of this fact not only puts serious responsibilities on subnational authorities in Europe but also requires active coordination and cooperation between regions in order to create a transnational European space for people with disabilities where they lead their lives as full citizens and participate in public life.
