Paris, Ile-de-France (F), 27 November 2008.
Michèle Sabban, Assembly of European Regions (AER) President and vice-President of Ile-de-France region (F), said about the new founded “Youth Regional Network”:
“I would like to congratulate this pioneer initiative, AER involves even further young people in European politics and in the future of Europe. I would like to bring my contribution and starting from today I will relay the Wiesbaden Resolution to every European, national or regional decision-maker that I will meet. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to participate to this event in Wiesbaden, but I will surely do next spring 2009 for the constituent conference.”
Further information about the conference is available at : www.aer.eu/events/committee-3-culture-education-interregional-cooperation/2008/wiesbadenconference.html
The Assembly of European Regions (AER) is the largest independent network of regions in wider Europe. Bringing together more than 270 regions from 33 countries and 16 interregional organisations, AER is the political voice of its members and a forum for interregional co-operation.
